Design, Travel, and the Everyday: Shifting Focus with Wine & Whiskey Travelers

If you’ve followed my work in home and interior design over the years, you know how much I value thoughtful living—whether it’s reflected in a beautifully styled room, a well-worn kitchen table, or the way we spend our time. That perspective continues to shape everything I do, but lately, the spotlight has shifted.

For the past six years, I’ve been quietly building a side project called Wine & Whiskey Travelers—a blog and YouTube channel where I share slices of life on the road with my husband, our pets, and our motorhome. It’s where travel, cooking, gardening, design, and a bit of real-time living all come together. Until now, it’s been a fun creative outlet alongside my design work, but recently I’ve moved it to the front burner and am giving it more time and attention.

The name Wine & Whiskey Travelers reflects the two of us and the rhythm we’ve found in this part-time RV lifestyle. I write about everything from our stays in places like Hilton Head and upstate New York to sourdough bread made in a tiny RV oven, meals with friends new and old, gardening thoughts from our antique farmhouse when we’re home in New Hampshire, and everyday observations along the way.

That said, I haven’t stepped away from interior design. I still take on projects that align with my interests and availability, especially those that spark a good collaboration or involve creating spaces with lasting character. Design remains a passion—and part of my life, even as the scenery changes from time to time.

So, if you’re interested in travel, real food, small-space living, gardening with a sense of humor, or just want to keep in touch beyond the world of interiors, I invite you to follow along on Wine & Whiskey Travelers. It’s a space where all of these elements intersect—and it’s only getting better.
